As a frequent customer and fellow paper-lover, Susan Clark Eason is a bride with a very special place in our hearts. From the save the dates all the way to the small details, we loved getting to be a part of the Eason wedding.

Susan’s mom, Connie, and really the whole family, have been great customers of ours since we opened a few years ago.  They have amazing taste and a love for paper that runs deep. We were so excited when they asked us to help with the wedding invitations and party/paper accessories for the August wedding.

About a year before the wedding, we started the design process with inspiration that Susan brought in for her Save-the-Date. We did a fun, custom save-the-date printed digitally on bamboo paper with loose calligraphy script. This was just an intro for what was ahead.

The invitation was letterpress-printed in gold, matte foil and black ink on crisp, white, recycled cotton paper by Bella Figura. Susan chose the perfect balance of whimsical calligraphy and a formal san serif font.For the guest room box stickers, cups, napkins, & bar signs, we used a similar whimsical calligraphy font. The couple chose to go with the more traditional double-envelope option, with the inner envelope lined with a small, gold-foiled stripe.
